I'm putting together some documentation to go along with the Spridget Project...I WILL finish it one day!!!

Anyway, I ran across this nice 8x10 factory photo on Ebay for CHEAP! I do believe that's "Miss MG" driving...

Looks like my Sprite in the "before" pictures. Tony...you should have one of these /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Panel gaps aren't too bad. I wonder how well the bonnet fits?

You're right, I should! Send it to me...hehehe

Where on ebay do you find stuff like that?

Ray..here's one I stumbled on a few years back... this is the only one I have ever found with white walls...while I never really cared for walls on the post bugeye Sprite I though they looked good in this ad...

Bibber, I have that one matted and framed, hanging on my wall. But, mine is a black and white ad, apparently from a magazine.

HOW do you guys find those things?

Oh, I bid on it!

You have to surf the ebay Sprite and Midget listing Tony, there's stuff like that pretty regularly on there!

I just search the main page of ebay (rather than ebay motors) and click the "search descriptions" box - this gets the collectibles and the books as well - "my search string is usually just "MG Midget"

I use MG+Midget when I eBay search. I seem to get more items.

Thanks, Bibber, I believe I have that ad somewhere. Here's another of the wide whites...it's on a "1 page brochure"...cover photo with specs on the back. It's posted on my site with a bunch more under the "Documentation" link. LOTS of cool information there.

There is quite a bit on e-bay under "austin healey sprite" and "austin healey" right now

Scored a couple more nice, very classy, original factory photos last week...got them today and they're up on my web site. Unfortunately, these were not the bargain basement price of the one I started this thread with...but, they are 45+ years old!

I've got a number of items like this that will be shared via scans to the web site (www.raysmg.com follow the "Documentation" link) and the originals are going to be framed and go on one wall in my new shop.

I bought the "GarageMahal" sized Midget poster...its great! Gotta get it framed.

I also do that as well as checking Austin Healey + Sprite in Car & Truck parts as well as Vintage Car & Truck parts! All three listings offer some different parts as well as a lot of "overlaps".
