Sprite Heater Knob

I remember a long while back, a thread on where to find these rare beasts. Searched, but no luck.
A friend who will be driving with me to the Ozarks is nearly done with his tweaks and upgrades, all he needs is the heater knob with the H on it.
If anyone knows a source, I'd (and he'd) appreciate it greatly.

I can't help you...heck, I'm repainting the "H" on mine!

The heater knob in the Ugly Bug has a "W" on it.

cause it only gets warm? - not hot?

H knob is from VB as I remember.

It is the Choke assembly with knob that is impossable unless you find an old stock as I did.

"Warm"! that's great JP. I was wondering what I could claim it stood for. My heater knob was busted and I had an extra wiper knob so the choice was easy for me.

I purchased several things from Ashley Hinton. I've been very satisfied with everything except his fresh air intake duct. His knobs are supposedly made from the original tooling.

I don't recall the lettering as being that large... but it's been a while since I've seen an OEM one.

The Doctor is right even with the entropy

...I have short moments of lucidity yet... :smirk:

Hey! there are not too many young guys driving sprites (Drew being an exception) so maybe the letter is intentionally larger.

Looks like a correct knob to me.

Looks like my original one that needs painting....all my original knobs are large..the new starter cable I bought has a smaller "S" on it than the original.

Same knobs but smaller letters on a Morris Minor.

Main reason I went thru the drill of tapping out the old style cable end and running a die over the shaft of a "new" choke cable was the obvious mismatch of the "C" letter... but it's for the MGB.

Sprite Heater Knob / now the switch....

Thanks to you chaps, he has an 'H' knob, he's also found a source for the switch / cable but wants to know what length, as there are different lengths available apparently.
If anyone can measure, or whatever, the length needed for a '65 Mk III Sprite, it would be appreciated.
Cheers guys, you're the best!
