sigh - I actually prefer the Sprite

Ditto that JP.

Not that I would turn down a ride in the Cobra!

Very nice looking pair!

Twins, just like Divito and Arnold!!! I like the Sprite better too. If I were in it for the money, I'd take the Cobra, but for the car,, The frog.

I prefer to think of Bugeyes as baby Cobras.

:iagree: Lb. for lb.and cc. for cc. I think they are really quite equal! Smiles per gallon, the Bugeye wins hands down!!

Babies are always cuter

I went to a Ford Mustang show a few years ago at the local mall and at it were about 8 Cobras. They all looked brand new. My son and I surmised that most, if not all, were kit cars.

I don't think there are any kit Bugeyes running around....

I have even been asked if Miss Agatha was a Cobra. Gesh, think on that a bit.

Great picture!

The first thing I thought of was the album:

~Twin Sons of Different Mothers~

I like both cars, but I can get in a Frog easier.
I don't know what it is about Cobra doors, but I find these cars very hard to get into.

Virtually all Cobras we see these days are kits cars.
It's rare to see a real one.
They only made about 1000 real ones......there are roughly 50,000 replicas out there.
And I would have to guess that if any of you see a real Cobra out there,
the owner is a very wealthy person.
Even a ratty one is worth about $250,000.
A nice 427 Cobra will still bring about $1 to $2 million
with some of the factory race cars bringing twice that amount.

Back in the day I actually got to drive a real Cobra. Belonged to Harvey Greenstein. Nice guy, great car. Actually there were two in the club.

I've had a ride in a kit version - pretty impressive. The owner let me sit behind the wheel and more than anything I remember how hard you had to push the clutch - more than most trucks I've driven

I guy I knew in college bought a new 1965 289 Cobra in BRG with a tan interior. Absolutely gorgeous car. In one of the all time great bone-head moves, he sold it a year later for a red 428 Ford Galaxie convertible. I'll bet he still bangs his head on the table every time he sees what those original Cobras are worth...

If I had the dollars I'd actually go for the Daytona body. Unfortunately Cobra kits are becoming common like kias to my mind
