spring seat rubbers

i started reading up on installing the front end back in the car. one thing my manual says to do is "inspect the spring seat rubbers". i have looked at all the exploded views i can find and thru the lists on the normal sales sites. nothing shows a spring seat rubber.

i would assume this is a rubber that sits at the top and bottom of the spring. i have them on my Triumph. am i right about that? is there such a thing? and who sells them if so?

Which manual says this? The only rubber near the front coil springs--according to both my 'official' parts book and the Moss catalog (pretty much the same thing)--is what are usually called 'bump stops.' I doubt any rubber placed at the top or bottom of the springs would last long anyway, and might contribute to rusting.
 
haynes manual is what i was looking at. the springs i have on the Triumph have a rubber at the top and bottom and run up a little inside the spring. just there to isolate noise. doubt they would be a factor for rust.

reading it again i think they must be talking about the rebound rubber inside the spring. i am going with that anyway. thanks for the reply.
