Spring for emergency brake

Has anyone sourced a spring locally for the emergency brake, the one under the car where the adjustment is? When I ordered the new cable I didn't get one and since the old one fell apart I was thinking maybe a local auto parts store or home center might have one that would work. I would hate to have to order just a spring as the shipping would be more than the spring.
