Just a few, I have to leave here in 15 minutes. I'll edit and do more later, give ya'll a link to an online album.

WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY. Nearly 200 miles on the B start to finish, lunch, a ferry ride (you can get a LOT of LBCs on a ferry), 2 wineries, a microbrewery, a nice restaurant/bar right on the river, dinner and a starlight ride home down along the river.

PERFECT DAY! I may or may not tell ALL the stories. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

((Okay, having problems uploading pics, I have to run...will add more later))

We had a dozen cars in the group, including 2 Sunbeams (with the original owners!)

Here's a link to the photo album with all the pictures: Spring Fling photo album

We left the house at 8am, met at 9am. We drove til about 3pm, stopping for lunch and to wait on the ferry. Spent the afternoon and evening in Grafton IL, a river town. Went to 2 wineries, a micropub, a great bar/restaurant right on the river (hmmm, everything's right on the river!) and then dinner at the Ruebel. 5 couples spent the night, but we headed home about 9pm since we had plans early this morning. The weather was glorious, bright blue skies, low 80's. (of course I blew a fuse on the way over, but fixed that as soon as we got to the meeting spot!)

14 hours later, 1 tank of gas and 218 miles later we dragged our tired selves into the house at the end of an absolutely perfect day. One of the best days we've had in a while. Life truly is about the simple things!

Looks great! I really enjoyed going on cruises with my club last year. Makes me really miss my car!
