Spring Equinox

First day of Spring here!

Theoretically, equinox allows you to balance an egg on its end (but no success here).

Weather has been great here. Drove my MGB with top down twice so far and drove Miata about 100 miles with top down yesterday.

Went to the doctor yesterday and even my doc told me he'd driven his '91 ALFA Spider top down on Sunday (he also gave me a good report on my broken toes).
Lots of motorcycles out too.

Looking good for this week too (sorry Don, Drew and all of you who live in cold places).

Been beautiful here, too - in the 80's! But the GT's not ready yet, and the roadster is getting a respray, so I have to be content with the Tacoma and the windows open. :frown:

Oh, and for that egg thingy, needs a little salt.

Came home from a client's office last evening just after sunset with the top down. Venus was awesome.

11f at my office today. 8" of fresh snow yesterday morning.

That said, it's been a *really* mild winter this year, not good for the local ski resorts (we had far fewer gigs this winter, places just weren't hiring musicians). Supposed to be up in the 60s by the weekend. I've already had the MGB and motorcycle out this year.

I only put the top up
for the rain last Saturday.
Been beautiful here, top down,
72 degrees, but cold at night.

Just means I gotta wear a hoody sweatshirt!

..., not good for the local ski resorts ...

12 feet at the base at one of the local here.
Mount Baker has a 300" base.

If it don't get nice soon...I'm gonna start lookin for a bridge

having my car with it's new fangled electronics warn me of icy roads in the AM doesn't make this feel very much like spring, IMO.
