I think BAT is the place to sell bug eye's!!

While auction prices are always dependent on who's bidding at the time, Bugeye prices *have* been going up. I think there was a bit of auction fever with this one, but the new owner will get lots of fun out of that car.

...and will have paid less in the end then I will have paid for Penny by the time that I'm done. Such is the way of things. :grin:

This one will be good test.https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1960-austin-healey-sprite-bugeye/ Already bid to $5,250. Car has lots of needs if you wanted to bring it back to original. If the floorpans needed replacement, I'd have to speculate there was some other rust in the sills and lower fenders that was repaired before the repaint. I suppose you'd find out what lies beneath when you repaint again, the present paint is crazed and has a few spots showing OEW underneath,

Sold for $10k. I think the seller got a good price for that car and I'd certainly look at BaT if I were selling a Spridget.
