Hello all:
Just got back from a 1000 mile trip to my daughter's College, St Lawrence in UP-UP State NY. As we were approaching Canton I spotted a red spit heading south on RT 68. It had plates from Ontario & a couple were tooling along.
We ended up heading to Ottawa for the night & stayed in the Fairfield Hotel downtown. Very, very upscale & nice.
Wish I could have been in my 250, but my Landcruiser was a joy to drive through the mountains, such a nice cruising vehicle, even with the lousy gas mileage.
The trip down to our stop over in NY was a little hairy with all the critters, read dear, fox & coyotes poking their heads out as it got dark! Better I was in the LC, vs the TR though.
Anyway if that was you in the Spit, kudos to a beautiful province!
