Spotted: Amphicar!

Same here... I've seen them before (a number of times) but only at car shows

Some day I want to see one actually swimming in the water, one of many things on my rather long wish list...

Am I being too demanding on myself perhaps?

One of our evening students (an older fellow) had one and used to bring it to the Moss Motors Britfest when it was held in NJ.

I saw one sell on one of those TV car auctions for amazing money (I forget how much).

Strange little beasts with air-cooled VW transaxle and Triumph Herald engine.

I saw this one (below) at the New Hamphsire Vintage Celebration a few years ago (we're heading there tomorrow for the '09 event).

Only if you live in Calgary - water, what water? :jester:

Years ago when I was a kid I saw one in Vermont when we were on vacation. Drove right down into the water and out into the lake. Too cool.
