Spitfire Spitfire Wanted

Hi all,
I mostly hang out on the spridget side of the forum as I've had a 76 Midget for probably 6 years or so. It is my daily driver. I've recently decided that I would like to build a 70's spitfire. I'm looking for one with a decent body that won't require a lot of metal work. I can handle the interior and painting. I was thinking of using a more modern running gear. I've had plenty of experience changing out thrust washers on my 1500. So if anyone has any leads on a non running restoration project please pm me. I'm located in South GA but can travel a few hundred miles for the right candidate. Also, any advice on pitfalls to avoid would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
JC

Looks like a good start. Think I'll give him a call.
Thanks Booley! I hadn't expanded my search that far North on Craigslist yet.
