continued from a previous post about pulling the rear wheel bearing hubs on a '67 MKIII spitfire....

It's been a loooong road to getting this thing back together, and I'm finally there.

I don't have torque specs for: (see green arrows in photo)
- leaf spring / upright bolt
- upright / hub bolt
- radius / trailing arm bolts

I am using a "deadman lift" to raise the suspension so the trailing arm is roughly in the horizontal position, and I'll torque everything down in that position....

Sorry, I don't have a factory manual, but the Haynes manual shows the following:

Roadspring eye bolts 48 ft-lbs
Vertical link to trunion 48 ft-lbs
Radius arm bracket to body 32 ft-lbs
Radius arm pivot bolts 32 ft-lbs

thanks! BTW, your location says Staunton.... The Morgan lads are headed your way July 4th (again). Usually a good meet, average around 50 cars.....

I will definitely have to check it out this year!

Getting at the bolts for the shocks and springs seems pretty easy. But getting torque wrench at each end of the radius arms seems difficult- not much room.

T.T.
