Spitfire Spitfire rear suspension part needed???

It is my understanding that there is a rear end suspension part on a spitfire that helps stabilize the rear wheels. My guess is that it keeps the wheels from traveling front to back under acceleration and turns.

Someone??? told me that this part would also fit my TVR. I am putting a lot more bhp to the ground than my TVR was designed for…

Any information on what this is? Pics? Part Numbers? Anything would be helpful.

You might be thinking of a camber compensator? It wasn't needed on 1971 and later Spitfires due to a change in the design of the transverse leaf spring to a "swing spring"; regardless, I don't think it would apply to a TVR, since the Spitfire rear suspension is a swing-axle design (and I didn't think the TVR was).
