I'm looking for some parts for my MKII that are turning out to be difficult to find. I need a tail light assy., the chrome trim strips for the hood, and a license plate light assy. If anyone has one they'd be willing to part with or know where I could find one I'd be very appreciative.
 
Do you mean the stainless steel that covers the seams? I thought Spits Bits and the others would have that. I may have some in my limited inventory. The tail lights and license plate lights were available at the various suppliers Spit Bits, The Roadster Factory. I think Charles is having special price on Spitfire parts this week.
 
I'd forgotten about spitbits thanks. I only checked Moss and Vicky Brit.

I also have a 1966 Spitfire Mk2 that I am restoring. Spitbits should have most of what you looking for. I use them quite a bit. Roadster Factory also has a good selection. TSI and APT have some great listings, especially if you want to upgrade your Spit's performance. Good Luck with your MK2.
 
I have a complete set of stainless trim from a 69 MK 3 and a NOS Lucas tailight assembly. PM if you are interested.

Hey; I'm looking for one of the chrome finishing strips on the bottom of the rocker panels. Anything out there? for a 70 GT6?
 
I took those off and left them off. Just places for water to collect and rust the metal underneath.
