Spitfire Spitfire MkIV/1500 Body Gaps - Bonnet to Bumper

We removed the bonnet from our '72 Spit to paint it. Even though I did not intentionally change anything on the bonnet (no bending or straightening) it is not sitting the same as when we removed it. We even put the pivot bolts back where the witness marks said they had been.

Is there a specification on what the gap should be between the front edge of the bonnet and a chrome bumper?

Thanks,
Doug L.

Pictures would be greatly appreciated. I asked this question to the NASS group and got advice on how to set the gaps but not what the gaps should be.

I will be starting another thread on Spitfire front spoilers. If you can offer advice in that thread I'd appreciate your input on that topic as well.
