My car shifts fine it just has no guide for the shift pattern. So from the position of the shifter you have no idea what gear it is in. What causes this and is it hard to fix?
thanks

Are you saying it's sloppy or that you can't tell what gear your in because there is no pattern on the knob?

It goes into gear fine as long as you know the location and what gear you are currently in. So this kit should correct this?
thanks

[/ QUOTE ]Yes, pretty much. And it's not difficult to install; little more than disassemble, clean, reassemble with the appropriate new bits. Toughest part is removing the necessary bits from the interior to get to the gearbox cover, and then removing that....
