/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gifI don't know how many sci-fi dorks we have here, but I was watching an episode of Firefly today. For those of you who don't know, Firefly was a "space-opera/western" series on Fox for a brief time, set 500 years in the future. It then became the Serenity movie and has a huge cult following.(I'm in the ANG, and nobody at work who has watched the pilot has anything but good stuff to say about it) Anyhow, I was rewatching the episode "Heart of Gold" when the bad guy in it comes flying up in a highly disguised pre MKIV Spitfire, *hovercraft*. Yes, yes, I know they are on a budget, but it is clearly a Spit! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif They have the guy driving it from on top of the dif., and his gunner standing in the trunk. In another shot you can clearly see the body lines, and the hood, which has the pinch weld on the top... Oh well, I'm a dork and proud of it! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif
