Spitfire Spitfire Hardtop??

I was given this hardtop and originally told it was for an MGB, that proved false and I was then told it was for a Midget. That also turned out to be false. I was then told it may be for a Spitfire. I do not know and that is the reason for this post. If anyone can verify that this is or is not for a spitfire I would be appreciative. Pictures are attached.

Maybe. The shape of the side window looks like a Spit.

early, mk 1-3. through 69.

Hose it down & look closely for identification either on the plex or underneith it looks like 'PARRISH PLASTICS'aftermarket.Look for date stamps etc.
Let us know what you find.

I don't think so. It's too flat and upright across the back. I don't think it will fit onto a Spitfire body tub at the rear.

Now the question is, do you have a use for it or will it be for sale. I just aquired a 62 Spit 4 and will be needing a hard top.

Good luck finding one in good condition. I've been looking for years. The early tops are hard to find. And they are usually priced in the ball park of a Miata hard top.
