I'm about to start putting the brake system back together on my Spit6 and I need advice on the rear brake lines. I have a GT6 frame and a Spitfire swing axle. When I took the rear axles out, I noticed that the brake pipes from the wheel cylinder to the brake hoses were just hanging free. The other end of the brake hoses were attached to the master cylinder pipe fastened to the frame. It seems I'm missing a bracket where the pipe from the wheel cylinder meets the hose. I know the bracket on a rotoflex set up (that's what used to be on this car)is on the near radius arm bracket. I made up some brackets to use on the radius arm mounting bracket, but after looking at the set up closer, I don't know if I want to attach them there. This would be on the bottom of the vertical link which would have some movement as the suspension moves up and down. The other end of the pipe on the wheel cylider would be stationary. So my question is, does anyone think there is too much movement here that would eventually break the pipe?
Anyone have a better idea of where to mount this bracket?
Thanks,
