Dang but that engine looks SWEET! Inspiration for under the bonnet of my MkI!!
 
If your willing to start moving pesky things like firewalls etc... then many engine options are available.

I've considered doing this, but ruled it out because the RX-7 swap makes more sense (and power!). But, if I run into a deal-of-deals on a beat-up miata, you'll be seeing my progress reports!
