Spitfire Spit overdrive tranny on eBay

He says that the J o/d won't mount to a 1500. I thought the J o/d was the o/d for a 1500?

The "J" Type is the correct O/D for a 1500, and the bell housings are the same for a 1300/1500, so I don't see any problems with it.
That statement may scare some people away, though, so maybe it'll go cheap!

I believe the statement is this TRANSMISSION won't fit 1500s. Prolly because of the different splines on the input shaft. Course it will bolt in if you make proper change in the clutch plate.
