It's been about 10 years since I've rebuilt a Spitfire dual brake master cylinder. I remember having a problem getting the large seal onto the primary plunger. Getting the seal over either end seemed impossible. I know I cracked two seals before I was able to get one on using the red brake grease. Question is...is there an easier way? Which end is easier to try? Would warming the seal help? (hot water).
