Has anyone noticed a change in oil pressure, increase or decrease, when switching to the spin on oil filter?

I converted my BJ7 to spin-on two years ago. The first year, I used a Fram filter, and my pressure was about the same as with the cannister. This past year, I went with the NAPA Gold filter, and the pressure is noticeably higher, especially when cold. Once the car is up to operating temp., the oil pressure seems to go back to the normal readings.
