Spin on Oil Filter Adaptor

I converted my BJ7 to spin-on two years ago. The first year, I used a Fram filter, and my pressure was about the same as with the cannister. This past year, I went with the NAPA Gold filter, and the pressure is noticeably higher, especially when cold. Once the car is up to operating temp., the oil pressure seems to go back to the normal readings.

I've had a spin on for about 2 years now. Haven't noticed any difference.

I have seen an increase in oil pressure on my BN4 and on all healey engines I have installed spin off filters. Fram filter lower pressure changed to Wix or Napa gold (same filter) increase in pressure. RJA
