Installed a spin on converter this summer and all was well until last weeek during a lovely Sat. this week to take the LBC for a quick spin. Oh no, fresh oil spurting, and I mean juggler style from where the spin on converter housing mates to the engine block where the cansister once saddled. The oil diminished to just a damp spot once the engine warmed up. Has anyone else had this problem. I will do and oil change and good inspection. Perhaps the coupling came loose, the gasket got pinched, or the casting is poor, but your advise and experience would be appreciated.
