I've got a Speedometer with this on the bottom:

<span style="font-weight: bold">SN-5230/06S 1280</span>

..and this one is in my '74 B.

<span style="font-weight: bold">SN-5227/06 1280</span>

What is the difference?

Also there is a sticker on the back of the first one <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">412</span></span> and the other is <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="text-decoration: underline">453</span></span>. What do these numbers pertain to?

5230/06S...That's a speedometer from a May '72 to Aug '74 MGB

5227/06....is a Nov '68 to Jun 71 MGB speedometer

And you know this how?

Right. I just found a few charts so I know where this comes from but what is the S for after the 06 for?

Look again, please, & tell me if that "06S" is really an "065.

There were different 5230/06 speedometers, one for standard transmission, one for overdrive transmission & one for automatic transmission....if its "065" that's a standard transmission

I'll check. It might be the 065.
