Speedo question

Had not noticed previously but speedometer on 76B (no counter) is erratic and jumping around at speed. Also loud ticking. Is this the cable or the speedo itself?

Probably the cable. Remove it and lube lightly, or use light grease. Too much will end up migrating into the speedo head and cause problems.
