Recently I was driving my 1960 BE when the speedo began making noise and then stopped working, going to zero MPH.
I took the speedo out of the car and ran they vehicle with the cable still in place. The cable did turn freely.
I checked the needle on the gauge and it does turn freely.
I added some white lithium grease to the speedo cable, re-attached it, and took the car out for a test drive, but the needle still remained at zero MPH.
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to get it to work?
Thanks,
Mike Pennell
