Ya can't start a thread with "Speedo identification". I frequent Old Orchard beach in Maine, and there are a lot of French Canadians......Older French Canadians! No pictures are necessary.

Ok, so I'm older than dirt, but what the h__l is a speedo? It's always been an abbreviation for speedometer in my book. Or is this another screw up of the English language for texting on a cell phone?

Sorry Brent on the side track of your original issue.....maybe the guy in the picture knows the answer?

Hmmm... now we know why Brent has only three posts in eight years. And two of 'em are in this thread! :smirk:

Maybe a note to Nisonger Instruments? Or these guys?

OK, so this thread is a year and a half old, but I thought I would provide the answer. This speedo(meter) is from a Riley 1.5:

Riley-Readyfortheroad!.jpg

The center trim ring would have originally been white/translucent, with a silver ring peeking through on the outside edge.

If anyone knows where I can find new trim pieces, let me know. I have one for my Speedo(meter), but not for the Tachometer or the temp-oil-fuel gauge.
