Speedo Fix

A while back with the help of the forum I determined my overdrive was perhaps from a Volvo, works fine, problem is it reads about 50% slow, about 30 when I am doing maybe 45, I have heard of places that will make a drive ratio adjuster fitted inline with the speedo cable, but have no idea where to get something like this or how much it might cost, or maybe have the speedo recalibrated, but then wont my odometer be way off still?

Anyway any suggestions of fixes or places to go to fix from the been there done that crowd would be appreceated.

Or talk to the folks at APT (gaugeguys.com). They also make the ratio boxes.

I bought a ratio adaptor at the beginning of the season after I installed a Toyota 5-speed. Made a couple of runs with a GPS and compared indicated vs actual (GPS) then went to the local speedo shop and they made me one for $80... I know I got a bargin.
