I am wanting to remove the speedometer cable from the speedo head in my 74 B and it seems my hands are too large to reach the attachment knob. Am considering lowering the steering column. Does anyone know if this will help or any other ideas would be appreciated.
 
Hi Ron, Just a thought.Perhaps you can remove the speed-o from the dash, then disconnect the cable from the Speed-O.---Keoke-??
 
I had the same problem, ended up asking my wife who has very small hands. Explained what was involved and "presto" off it came. Replacing it was just as easy.
Gotta love that team work.
 
Was going to say, don't you have a neighbor kid who could help?
