Speedo Cable help needed

Crypty has a busted speedo cable.

When I look at the parts book I see an angle
drive assembly available.

1969 Crypty TR6 has a TR4a tranny case and Smith speedo.
No angle drive was present on Crypty when I removed
the tranny. The speedo cable entered directly with no
angle assembly.

Should I order the new cable with or without the angle
assembly?

thanks,

d

If you have overdrive you should have the angled drive, otherwise you will have too tight a curve on the cable. Unfortunately the angled drive is not cheap, which is probably why it wasn't there in the first place.
