Relaxing in the MGB today and noticed the speedo bouncing until we got up to 30 or 30 MPH. Do I need to lube the cable? If so, can I pull it from the speedo instead of the tranny?
The cable only pulls out from one end. I believe Repro is right, it's at the speedo end. Definatly try that first. slean the cable with some WD40 and apply a light coating of oil or white lithium grease. That should clear it right up.
