Hi all, I am back to the purist stuff and was wondering if I remember this right. I think it was Geo awhile back that commented that the color for the speedo and tach cable is actually a tan/white as opposed to black on a tr3? Does that sound right? And that TRF had them.

from TRA:

Tacometer (Revolution Counter) and Speedometer Cables. Both tac and speedometer cable change at TS10545
(ref: SPCEd4, pg 74); no changes are visible in the engine compartment. See Interior, "Dash and Instruments" on
the tac and speedometer units. We believe that early (TR2) cables were black in color, later changing to gray or
cream. ??? does speedo route behind the upper steering support bracket.

To my eye the TRF cables are a bit more silver than grey -- still, much closer to the original color than any other aftermarket cables I've seen.
