This is just an FYI:

SPEED TV is having the Six Hours at The Glen today (July 1).

11:00 Eastern Time

Corvette team looks strong.

Ben might be able to hear these from his house.

Did it in 1980.
Boy...I think I am still hung over

I ran a Three Hour enduro in my Sprite there in '04 and '05. Plus several Two Hour enduros in other years.

52 laps around the long course in '04.

It's a nice place.....you definitely get into a groove after about 20 laps.

I've been up to that race before. That's a neat series to watch. And it's low-key enough to get really good access to the cars and teams.
They have a great day for racing. Hot and dry, with a nice breeze.

This should kinda date me, for my first time attending the 6 hours at the Glen, the winning car was a GT40 (and it is still my one of my favorite long distance race cars).

That would have been Jacky Ickx, my favourite endurance racer.
I was at the "Makes Six Hour" at WG in 1970. Rodreguez and Siffert won in a 917.

Was there for that one too. Swiss Jo Siffert was definitely one of my favorites (whether driving F1 or sports cars). Really like this photo of his dealership.
