I think it's fabulous. Something other than the typical "matching trailer".

Wow! But I actually quite like it, and I'll bet that's a rather handy trailer...

It's "interesting".

That the guy did all that work and left the filler lid in place kinda puzzles me, too.... izzit a "reserve fuel supply" as well, I wonder?

Easy way to spend the night at a show!

Could be!

Has to be SOME reason behind it. That's as good as any.

It's simple...because, like the mountain.....it was there!

I had one of these Capris (and now have a much older Capri which is unrecognisably better!) and I think this trailer is brilliant! Incidentally, I just found pics of a (smaller) similar style of trailer built from two Austin A35s on the A30/35 club's forum, you might want to check it out. So many ideas, so little time...

Thanks Nial! Groovy Capri there, and yes, I spotted you on the A30/35 forum.

By the way, I used to own a '71 Capri also....yes, much better looking.

My first "new" car, which I bought off of the show room floor a couple years after joining the military was a 1974 Capri. It was a 6 cyl, metallic pea green with a black vinyl top and black interior. I loved that little car! Very similar to this one (but with black roof and interior):
