Special Tri-Carbs

Has anybody heard of four special Austin Healeys 3000 MK II BN7 equipped with three 1.75 in carbs? These cars left the factory painted in primrose yellow and probably had a side exit exhaust!?! Any clues on that?

Eric, As of December of 2003 there were about 149 Bn7 tri carbs accounted for. The list includes exterior and interior color and also options. Out of the 149 there are no yellow cars listed. I don't recall anything listed mentioning 1.75 carbs either. Not saying that the 4 yellow cars don't exist but if they do they are not registered.
(at least not as of dec 2003) most of them were Old english white and there are 2 BRG listed but I don't know if they both were painted green from the factory. I think I read somewhere that they made 1. If I had my list here I could tell you how many were made of each color.

Thanks, BlueRidge1, and the general quietness on this subject means nobody has heard of them? If they exist(ed), anybody must have heard of them..... At least I did, but only from one person who claimed to have one of these. He showed me the car and it had 3 1.75" carbs and a side exit pipe and said that these were original. I hardly know him and don't know if I can believe him.
