Speaking of Super Chargers!

I'm betting that the gain they saw was more from the K&N vs. the stock air filter system than the electric supercharger. I saw one review of these where they were little more than repackaged computer fans.
 
IMHO there is no way you can get much more than an inch or 2 of boost with an electric fan. I think you'd be better off with a snorkel intake taking air from the grill area, where it would benefit from a bit of positive pressure as you speed up

I agree! I wouldn't buy one. Just curious if anybody has.
 
Sound like snake oil salesmen. I have a hard time beleiving that.
 
One step up from the "preformance" chips you see on ebay for 25 bucks. You know the one's that are a 25 cent resistor with 1 cent worth a shrink wrap and maybe a lable on it.
 
Just finished installing mine at it works great, seems more like a 50% gain.
