Speaking of 737s

I'm sure you have seen the news about the 737 that slid off the runway into shallow water in Jacksonviole, FL. Of course investigaion will determine the root cause, but it appears excess rain on the runway may be a factor (hydroplaning). Thankfully no one was killed.

Speaking of 737, my son just got hired to fly the 737 (not the 800!) for a cargo carrier. This will be a step up from the CRJ he currently flys and a little closer to the KC-135 he flew in the AF (Still in Reserves).

That 737 was a military contract carrier

Enough sudden rain volume to turn the runway into a slip-n-slide!

That Sukhoi landing was pretty impressive.
