I am going to install a radio in my Bugeye and my question is has anybody else installed a radio in their Bugeye and where did you install the speakers?

Short of using a Bose A20 headset I don't think a radio would work all that well.
think of the bugeye as a side by side motorcycle.

If you aren't into originality try some Miata seats with the head rest speakers. Either that or as SD Bugeye says forget about it. You cant hear the radio anyway!

Kurt.

My Bugeye had a radio when I bought it 10 years ago....I could hardly hear it and it was located in front of the shifter (below the dash) and I kept hitting it when I shifted so out it came. The speakers were located under the dash near where your knees would be.

Ear-buds.

The only channel that comes in clear is channel 948 just listen to the SU'S Sing thru LCB HEADER @ 4500 RPM
violent and soothing all at the same time
Gota love the British music " invasion"

The PO that installed the radio in mine glued 2 speakers to the underside of the rear deck, just behind the seats. They're pretty much drowned out by road noise and exhaust singing, so the radio stays off.

I installed speakers on my SBC powered Sprite. Even with an amp pushing more power, they are worthless. When I go back through the car soon I'll pull them out. I phone with one ear bud in is good enough for me, and I can still hear what's going on around me.

Well the radio has been installed in my Bugeye. I placed the speakers near the right and left footwells using an existing screw hole to hold each speaker in place. i used a hidden antenna grounded to the first right screw on the rear surround. The sound is great. It is a retro sound radio speakers and hidden antenna combination and I like it.

Blue Tooth speaker and a telephone. You can here it when your going slow.
