TR6 Spark plugs for TR6

I decided to change the spark plugs in my '73 TR6. I'm currently running with the Bosch WR7DP Platinum. After removing them I notice plugs 1-3 were sooty and plugs 4-6 were a nice brown color so I'll be leaning out the front carb a little.
No long trips or auto crossing. What plugs do you recommend?
NGK? Champion?
NGK shows BPR6ES...... Is the hotter BPR5ES a better choice?
Iridium? Platinum? Copper?
More info please

I had a similar issue on my Healey (before the rebuild) with #5 having a tendency to oil foul. For a while I used BPR6ES in all but #5 and BPR5ES there. That worked OK until the rebuild. Now running BPR6ES in both Healey and TR6 with no problems.

IIRC there's info on the internet stating there's no point in running expensive platinum or iridium plugs in an old car. They're designed to run 100k in a modern car.

NGK's all the way! BP6ES or BPR6ES. the "R" are resistor, will cut down radio interference. Have run them for 50 years - best overall performance and reliability.

Thanks for the info guys.
Steve- I also questioned putting expensive plugs back in. So thanks for mentioning that.

I've been using NGK BUR5ET for the past few years.....initially I just wanted to try them out of curiosity having read about them on the Triumph Register Forum
Otherwise Champion RN12 YC would be and were my previous choice.
So either heat range 5 in the NGK brand or 12 in the Champion brand.. always copper.

I've seen that before, Elliot.
Here's where I bought them
I tried the 6's but found the 5's to be a little better looking after a test drive.

Those plugs look good! My rear three look like that; the front three have more soot. I’ll lean the front carb a little and get the new plugs installed then check after some driving.
