This past weekend 70 Healeys and their owners, 140 plus people, gathered in Morro Bay California to recognize the 40th anniversity of this wonderful organization. What a great place; coastline, farmland, wooded hillsides, wineries, great roads, small towns, great food and friends. Pretty, pretty, good.

The board members, Peter Roses, Mike Scroggie, Ed Nuemeyer and many more worked very hard to put together a terrific program. We had guest from the state of Washington, Hawaii, and as far away as Australia. We were honored to have many guest from the Bay Area and the San Diego clubs come and celebrate with us as well. We were entertained with Poker Runs, drives through the vinyards, Car Show, Rocker Cover Races, tech sessions, museum tours, nights out on the town, all culminating in a gala awards event, complete with a pictorial presentation of the 40 year history of the club.

Glad to hear it was as usual a good event--Keoke

Yes, it was a great event. Beautiful place we stayed in at Morro Bay. (Right next to the bird reserve- noisy but they were beautiful). Long, beautiful drives on Healey loving roads. We lead 8 big Healeys on the Big Sur coast highway. The event was flawless 4 days. Busy all the time.

In my previous post I meant to mention what a great job Steve Kirby and John Hedblum did in providing detailed turn by turn directions used for our Poker Run and our back road trip to Paso Robles. With these directions we all were treated to some of the best Healey roads I have ever seen.
