Source for Bugeye accelerator return spring?

When I bought my Bugeye, it had SU-H2 carbs. I now have SU-H1 carbs. The spring Moss sells for an accelerator return spring is about 3/8" wide. In the Moss catalog it shows the Bugeye as needing two of these smaller springs. They never did work all that well. I eventually bought an original handbook, and later on a second Bugeye engine. In both cases, the spring is much bigger - about 5/8" wide, and only one spring is used. Does anyone know where I can get one of these? I borrowed the rusted spare I had for now, and it works great, but I don't know how long it will last before it breaks. Thanks for your help.

I suspect the usual suspects, autozone Pep Boys would have just what you need.

There are several return springs JP, ones that go on the shafts both between the carbs and outside on the front as well a real spring kind of that goes from the throtle hookup to the heat sheld. But since you want springs which one is it, hehe.

The big one from the throtle hookup to the heat sheld from Moss easly the other I would try Joe C in New York.
