$45 Canadian for a 2' by 2' piece of Dynomat, at my local sound shop. I plan on doing a piece roughly the same dimension as the depression in the main floor pan, and perhaps a smaller piece on the firewall. I'm not putting any directly under the seat, where the pan is ribbed; I don't like the idea of water collecting under the matting, and the ribs help to (slightly) dampen the vibration anyway. Pics when I get it done...

As a member of the We Tight Club I did it simpler and got a few press and stick vinyl floor tiles to replace the tar paper under there. May not be correct but it serves to deaden the sound, approximate thickness or the tar paper under there, covered over by carpet, never seen, added some rigidity to the floorplan,floorplan had zero rust, yeah I know I was fortunate, and was still that green baby poop color under there. Redrilled drain holes and good to go for a long time.
 
Go to a heating contractor and get some duct sound lining...comes in a couple of different thicknesses, up to 1/2" I think I recall from my HVAC days. They should sell it to you by the foot, usually 48" wide. It's fiberglass with one coated side. We lined my husband's '65 Mini Countryman Estate with it...what a difference! Almost like it was made for it...perhaps that's why they call it "sound lining"!
