I'd like to find 'something' for music etc. that:
- would be portable
- would have a single (or two) speakers
- ideally, a 'sandbag' type base that you could drop down on a console or floor or behind the seats
- plug in to a cigarette lighter or something similar for power
- would play: AM, FM, some sort of plug in for other inputs (CD? MP3? modern magically stuff (I still have a turntable))

Any suggestions? Thanks, Doug

I would look at any of the various bluetooth speaker out there - My brother (the musician with a small recording studio in his basement) loves (I think) Sonos - but, before that her had a more generic version. my daughter has a couple - they are small, battery powered, go forever, sound astonishing and you can stream from your phone.
