Could you imagine walking along, not paying attention and look down after crossing the edge! Could give someone a heart attack! I love this kind of art. Seems to be quite popular in some cities. PJ
 
Looks to me like a real painter and a painted Mountie (no shadow on the painters ladder).
 
Speaking of fooling the eyes ... here's a before and after of a WW2 defense plant in California, in an effort to prevent attacks from the air.

Some of those pavement 3D ones only look good from a single angle (and otherwise look odd). The Canadian flag on the wall is excellent! Thanks.
