My sister just got a new laptop (Apple Macbook) with all the fixings. So tonight she and I were playing around with Apple's iChat, doing video conferencing. I've had this working with my parents before, so we decided to try a new feature. While video chatting with my sister (I'm in Utah, she's in Boston) I added my dad in Rhode Island into the chat. So with no muss or fuss, we were doing a 3-way video conference. Too cool!

Definitely shrinks the distances quite nicely. Every now and then this new technology stuff actually delivers what it promises.

Ever see th' movie "The President's Analyst" Drew?

It (this new technology stuff) may be "delivering" more than you imagine...

I had a similar (not live, like yours) event last week.
A friend of mine was at a soccer game in England, and he emailed me video from his cell phone.
I uploaded them to Facebook so my brother in Afghanistan could see them.
There was about a 5 minute delay, but yes, it shrinks the distances and put smiles on all faces. Now, if only I could get my mum to use email......
Those Macbooks look like fun.

Not seen that one, Doc, though it does look interesting. Coburn's always good for a show.

Now as to the (possibly) nefarious other possibilities...

If I cared about such things I'd have that movie's "ringtone" on my cell phone... :smirk:
