One man's minor is another man's major. Here in NH,where they spread the salt 10 to 1 with the sand, some might consider that fender in fantastic condition with only a little massaging needed. Im with you. Get a tetnus shot before touching.

On a more positive note -- just came across this listing -- what a sight!
Ah, I see Wayne is looking to retire again. Wonder how many fake TR5s he has?

10 miles from my door. It might as well be across the country.

Whats a fake TR5? TR4 body with a tr6 motor?
Tom

Perhaps it's a TR250 with the TR5 fuel injection setup.

Yup, that's the idea. There were very few LHD TR5s built, since they were not legal for sale in the USA. I have no problem with people who want to put a Lucas PI unit (same unit used on UK-spec TR6) on their TR250; but trying to sell it as a TR5 is fraud, IMO.

Randall, you are absolutely correct. But that is where the bucks are and these people who do it, have no scruples.

Caveat Emptor.............let the buyer beware

When you shake Wayne's hand after a deal, you better count your fingers....
