Tried to get the Cortina engine/trans back together-
won't fit.TR6 needs front brakes,pads (& the water pump leaks).
The Anglia is still "under restoration"(not going anyware).
The 2 Datsun B210s need finishing.Summer's over,& I haven't
gotten anything done.How do I keep it all together?

When I got myself in that position, I bought a Miata.

It allowed me to catch my breathe and drive a simple, durable, reliable, fun car.
To me, it's <span style="font-style: italic">"the driving"</span> and not <span style="font-style: italic">"the fixing"</span> that's fun.

After a while, I was able to refocus on the Brit cars. Now, both of my complete Brits are running nice, I'm slowly converting a Spridget parts car into a "runner" and I have a non-Brit racer.

The Miata "gave" me that time, because it never needed any attention.

(but for what it's worth, brake pads and a water pump is fairly cheap and should only take an easy day's work to finish)

My dad's old business buddy had a wonderful saying I heard as a teen, and still use today: "Don't worry about it... nothin's gonna be all right!"

Good advice at times, methinks. :thumbsup:
