We have occasion to cover events at our local Veterans Park, this past Saturday there was a "Tribute to the Troops" celebration. On a table somewhat separated from the main themed displays was this. No idea what the circumstance was that saw this flag discarded, but even taking it to a VFW or other veteran organization would have been better than where it was found.
