I would love to see all the hats and "Projector Headlights" removed from the listing .Talk about over kill!

I`d like to see all of the brochures and old car adds in a different category then the actual Tr-3 & 3a parts listings.

Remove all motorcycle parts from the car listings.

One can filter to some extent in search terms used. For example, I've done a search on:

triumph lucas -(motorcycle,650,preunit,daytona,bsa,norton,t140,bonneville,trident,tiger)

to eliminate a lot of the motorcycle stuff and just get Triumph car Lucas parts. Note no spaces after commas.

Andy. still won't get rid of those hats or headlights.

you can remove stuff from your searches. i think you do a "-xxxxx" without quotes. This is from one of my favorites searches

mga -matrox -video -AGP -MATROX -PCI -compaq -matrox -video -pci -hat -tshirt -graphics -sweatshirt -game -t-shirt -teeshirt -dress -caps -cap -tricks -skirt -elvis -graceland -fashion -breakout -missle -command -doll -basketball -mitsubushi -revell -Revell -necklace -bracelet -corgi -matchbox

mga is what i am searching, all other terns are removed from the search.

Yeah, I know. To some extent, you can filter down more using the listing category links (i.e., eBay Motors)...but nothing's perfect, especially those who might insist on putting Triumph lingerie in the eBay Motors category...or those who aren't really smart enough to classify something Triumph car-related (i.e., a GT6!) in eBay Motors or some other automobile-related eBay category. And then there are the misspellers, which is why I occasionally search on terms such as "Truimph" or "Hearld"!

I'm with Brosky, on the motor cycle stuff. Actually ebay should tighten the amount of catagories. Do we really need TR6, TR 6, and TR-6 ? I think most folks just aren't safisticated enough to properly select from the mirad of catagories available, and if you try to define your search to fine, you will miss the guy who's lazily done listing is exactly what you are looking for. But part of that is what makes ebay fun. Finding a good set of Miata seats in the "Maita" catagory was to my benefit.
